The magnificent and only CrossCode food & debate thread!

by Avarik » Thu Mar 12, 2015 1:00 pm

Fix'd!

A thread dedicated for our favorite cuisines! Feel free to post anything related to food, imagery and even recipes if you feel a certain need to share some! You can even argue why X food is better than Y, and join in on a quest to eliminate all tomatoes from the world if so desired. (THAT FLIPPIN SAUCE THAT STICKS TO EVERYTHING GDJGFKFGJIWOAGHJFGSHNFGGKHSD)

And with that, let the nom procurement commence!

My favorite foods, uh, too many to list. Some of them can't even be spelled in english without messing up the original pronunciation.

I really like:

Curry Rice
Seolleongtang
Gamjajeon
Alfredo, especially with Farfalle pasta
Basil Pesto with Pasta (or as I call it, "Pesto")
All the Tex-Mex
Miso Soup

Favorite drink(s):

Sikhye (my friends have told me it tastes like Horchata when spiced with Ginger and/or Pine nuts; I prefer it plain and sweet personally)

Favorite Dessert(s):

Dutch Apple Pie
My mom's homemade Chocolate Cake

If you dunnno what some of the stuff above is ask Mr. Googlare. Also this is like a tiny sampling of the stuff I like. I like way too much good food ufufuufufu. :D

This reminded me of the time I imagined what a bacon flavored bacon pancake would taste like. It was quite baconey. Then I ate my waffles for breakfast. :lol:
(I forgot what day Waffle Day was)

It'd the CC homepage. I prefer to have neutral stuff on my screen when taking pictures of it, and there is usually nothing less neutral and unpersonal than "X" on an "X"-Forum. My desktop is a mess of files and stuff, but indeed it is taken from CC. It should have Schokobons on it though. Hmpf.

Welcome to Texas fellas!

It's a damn shame my spring break was during the week y'all came to Austin. I could have gone and met you guys in person otherwise. :x

So, where'd ya go? Pojos? BBQ in Austin is practically synonymous with takeout catering at University events ya know. :lol:
